Will you be friends with your ex after the breakup?

I've wondering about this whole being friends with your ex after breaking up with them situation. For some people I know, they just can't be friends with their ex (as an outsider I think it's a shame knowing that they were friends for a long time before their relationship). Then again, I've heard that it is awkward to be together again and even harder to accept the fact of the break up, but im sure it varies between different people. Time does not heal all, but do you think that in the near future people will be able to be friends with their ex or is it still an impossible task?

I think thatit depends on the people..maybe the boy sometimes wants their relationship to be as friends. For me, some people will be together back as friends.

Yeap. It's awkward to be together again when one couple changed becoming normal friends. But it's a waste to let go such a good friend just because both of them can't be couple anymore. If the reason of breaking is as simple as "parents don't allow", they absolutely can be friends but just need to control their feelings, not to continue fall deeper in love with each other.

Time does not heal all, but do you think that in the near future people will be able to be friends with their ex or is it still an impossible task?

Yes, time does heal but not 100%. Able or unable to be friends is depends on the two individuals. Some guys which practises "big man concept" mostly can't accept their ex to be friends. They'll feel akward but if they can break the invisible wall between them, they sure can be friends. P/S: Recently there is a show about this too....Sourire Pour Moi...a Chinese drama filmed in Langkawi Island.

I will live in the best way I could and let him know I become better without staying within his network. uhm... sound more like some kind of revenge in showing off rite? I know the gal has no fault (I doubt it sometimes though) but I still wish to look more better than her when people talks about the matter (well, it's human nature to always compare and compete)

Mine also still fren mah..just kinda awkward especially the reaction of the girl towards me sometimes too over It made me also lazy to talk to him as to avoid misunderstanding that she may think...what wor? she think I still like him and want to fight back meh Or is my thinking of being better of her noticed by her so she feel unsecure??? So upset she distant me now...we used to be fren before she with the guy. Now seem like I lost two of them even though I wish to retain our friendship.

This is life.....as I may tell, sometimes, once a relationship has been formed and when it goes deeper, a bond was created but once the bond was broken.....it is hard to reconnect it again, even you are friends...but the relationship, the feeling was 100% different.....you won't felt the same thing!!!Caz there is a deep scar inside your heart and its hard to throw it out....as for me....my opinion, although I haven't been into a love relationship before but I can give you this advice, to meet a person and get to know them only consumes 5 seconds but to forget them takes 5 centuries..... but the best is retain the relationship no matter what it takes, we are human after all~ so why bother? hehe

Are you sure I normally forget people 5 seconds but take 5 centuries (will I live that long?? ) to know a person...Okay la, it just apply for acquaintants. Dont tell me you able to recognise all faces in campus. My fren always scold me for this characteristic of me (dai tou ha), cuz she used to sit two rows behind me in class for that WHOLE year but I dont know she's my classmates until she raise it up in a gathering at next year (we have become fren at that time through my other fren) All our fren are unbelievable...swt...(she said v r classmates and I said I dont know her, she really stuned lo, lol, find a lot of witnesses to prove to the other frens and I'm still blur blur that time, LOL)

Actually different people have their own ability on making friends...in other words....extrovert and introvert peoples...as for extrovert peoples... they tend to know people as fast as the blink of an eye! But the funny thing is....they always forgotten one part of a new friend!! (Either Looks, name, age, gender or even course!) haha, we are just ants in this world, so we could not know everybody even if you are in a small class! Caz not everybody is extrovert!!!

Well, you looked like an introvert person and the friend of yours is an extrovert. hehehe....just applied this statement from my biginners counseling studies....hahahaha
