Serious Streamyx Problem><

Hey ..
i have a problem

When i was connected to the internet..
if went out to be normal....
BUT after a few minutes...
my WAN statistic IP ADDRESS changes to 0.0.0.0

when i ping in 'cmd' every ip is --> Request Timed Out

I cant surf , msn , anything when the ip changes to 0.0.0.0
But my adsl status / overall status stated im still connected to internet

So , does any1 know how encounter this problem?
n is there a way to encounter this problem?

have you tried clicking repair so that they try to renew your ip address...? i think that might work (oh btw i'm not using streamyx though... juz thought it might work)

let me think....
u r probably using a router modem izzit?
u can try these few choices:

1)restart modem
2)repair network connections
3)restart computer
4)delete temperory internet files(dunno tis works onot)
5)unplug the cable then plug it in again

6)slam your CPU

Hmm... choices 4 and 6 will not definitely work, but slamming your CPU is kinda fun, if you really really despise it... lolz

it might be the problem of the modem configuration or the streamyx or the modem or watever i dunno LOL..

1st 1st no problem.. but after a few minutes it auto change to 0.0.0.0
thats mean i have a limit of time to post smth here... ><

when istart connected my ip was 60.xx.xxx.xxx
after a few minutes it changes to 0.0.0.0 :drunken:

did u try disabling ur firewall?

u try use a software call "Hide IP Plantium" ....
try lah....mayb hackers trying to hack ur ip....

ok.. i nvr off my fire wall except portforward to host game [dota]

btw what does Hide iP PLATINUM do? hehe
make sure i can host game.. if not , some of my friends gonna kill me

thus , i use manual connecttion / direct connection
no problem ><

anyways.. using a proxy might fix it. but only internet browsing and some applications.

these days streamyx have many problems....what happened? Do you all experienced the same problems?

i heard streamyx users are experiencing lags and disconnection... though i would know... cos i'm not using streamyx

I have it!!! Many problems....bad problems!! Always cut off!!! Arrrghhh!!! Hate it!! but it seems that the connection it was stable for now.....;P

it only remains stable for a while... or so ppl say... streamyx normally cause lag spikes in online games like DotA and CS =.= which are EXTREMELY annoying... even more so when u dc
