What band instruments you prefer?

What band instruments you prefer? 036%20Trumpet

Trumpet: brass instrument having 3 valves and producing up to 12 notes.
Bell: flared end part of the instrument.
Tuning slide: allows to change the tube length and then modify the pitch.
Water key: tube allowing the saliva to evacuate.
Third valve tube: segment that gets the tube longer making the pitch tone to be one tone and a half lower.
Mute: apparatus that can be placed in the bell in order to soften the sound.
Valve: mechanism that allows to change the tube length to produce different notes.
Second valve tube: segment that gets the tube longer making the pitch tone to be half a tone lower.
First valve tube: segment that gets the tube longer making the pitch tone to be one tone lower.
Mouthpiece: slim piece of a wind instrument that is placed between the lips.
Thumb rest: place to put the thumb in order to support the trumpet.
Finger button: button that actions the valve when pressed.
Little finger rest: place to put the little finger in order to support the trumpet.

i love the muted sound on trumpets. makes me feel somewhat lonesome sometimes when i listen to it.

i love violin as well.. maybe cuz i like country music a lot.

Yalor, how about the KKMS band? Ever heard of them? This is the greatest band i ever see. They use instruments during marching! Great!

Hello members, i loved band very much especially Kian Kok Middle School Concert Band because i've seen them n TV in NTV7 sponsored by Philips....the jazz band is sooooo great!

Trumpet is my instrument i played during my 3 years in the sencondary school of music sponsored by Yamaha. Then I stopped when I moved to Kuching, Sarawak....max...you are lucky...

Hi.. I am Neo.. I want to share some of my little experience...
Actually i am also a band member.. A drummer actually..
I have 5 years of experience playing snare drum (can also be called as side drum), 4 years of tennel and bass drum, and two years of tom-tom drum(mixed-drum).
I am a drum master when i was Form 4 and been trough a lot of hard time because that particular year my school (SJM- a Malay school actually) faced financial problem and i have to compose drum music for performance and compatition.. When i was form 5, i managed to be a band major (the one playing the stick **it is called maze actually**)... I also learned trumpet and silver flute too... haha...
I have been to Johor State School Band Compatition representing my state (Kluang) for 3 times.. haha..

But i think this kind of experiance is just nothing... Coz you all have been to bigger occations than me... Even on TV shows, combine band with famous band overseas such as Nakamura and even got sponced by big intrumental company such as Yamaha...
You all are so cool and great...
