Please somebody teach me how to use c++ program

hi...my college is going to ask us to do an assignments about c++...but i don know anything about it...can anyone please tell me what is that all about?

i know c++ is a programming language, but thats about all i know lol..

Maybe the lecturer wants u guys to do a system? Or a simple program? Im confused too~ (>_<) How come the lecturers assign students an assignment but he didnt explain it in detail? Hmm...
