Orchestra Music Composing

anyone interested in making orchestra music?
i think this shud appeal to only music and arts students but i hope a other ppl will be interested in this subject as well =)

u guys might be wondering how to create an orchestra piece without a real orchestra. so im suggesting using MIDI as the "orchestra" and hopefully it will sound as best as it can with midi.

if u guys hav any questions please let me know =)

Ochestra is hard la klu mo compose song, but effect tu mmg best la..
But I rather do it for Piano Solo..
B'coz I'm not really a good with multi-instrument..

im using Cakewalk Home Studio for midi composition..
i wud post it here but.. its only demo ver... and not to mention big..
ill help to look for free softwares and post it here.

Um, your demo version software can produce MIDI compilation??

midi compilation?
or u mean render midis.. Fruity Loops can do midi's too but the interface isnt to good for composing orchestra music.

Acid Music Studio also provide some midi composition tools. but its almost as hard as FL..

If ur good at reading music notes. try Sibelius.. my cousin uses that.

I use Cakewalk cuz it plays the note when i place them on the piano roll(i hav a good ear).

Hey members, ever heard of the instrument bigger than cello? I forgot what name is the largest instrument of all the violins....please tell me! Bass? Base?....awww

Anyway.. Yes.. Contrabass a.k.a Double Bass..

Yeah, double bass is the largest instrument in the string instrument category... You have to take good care of it... If not, then... things might be a bit difficult... these instruments cannot be under the sun. If not, the paint on the instrument will fade... and the strings will get out of tune if you dont carry it properly... Another reason is because of it's humungous size too... it may be light when you carry it in the beginning... but later... you'll feel that it has gotten heavier...

I guess can say tat all musical instruments need proper mantainance....However, i seldom do tat 2 my violin :P (practice till got scratches)

Haha! Dont et confused ya... S.O. means String Orchestra... school de xian yue tuan.... Coz so long need to say "String Orchestra", so we say S.O. instead... hehe!!!

haha......actually S.O is mean string orchestra.......in our sch.....i mean kian kok middle sch......v all S.O club member usually call our club as S.O........so sapo yiyi is mean the cello tat belongs 2 kkms`s S.O club......as she is a cello player tat had been assigned 2 use a cello by our jingglebell JIEJIE........she very old de woh.....in our club, can b counted as anccesstor....hahaha, bell, dun angry ahh kkekeke

I composed music before but It turned out to be a failure....but its okay..
